Simone Cardoso, an 18 year old singer/songwriter born and raised in New Bedford and is no stranger to the big stage. Simone, a former member of The Varsity Girls, has performed for thousands of fans to include President Barack Obama and has shared the stage with many stars including James Taylor, Keith Lockhart and The Boston Pops, Big Time Rush, Cody Simpson, New Boyz, Jessie J and LMFAO. She is also an official partner of the New England USO and has performed at military troop homecoming ceremonies as well as at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC for wounded US troops. She has performed at major venues to include The Comcast Center, Fenway Park, The Boston Garden, Gillette Stadium, Six Flags New England, Citi Field in New York and the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Simone is currently in the studio completing her debut solo album scheduled for release in early fall.
