Feast of the Blessed Sacrament Honors Founders with Monument Unveiling in Madeira

New Bedford, MA – The Feast of the Blessed Sacrament proudly announces the unveiling of a new monument in Estreito da Calheta, Madeira, honoring the founders of this beloved festival. This historic tribute celebrates the Madeiran immigrants who established the Feast in 1915, preserving their culture and traditions in New Bedford. The event highlights the enduring connection between Madeira and the local Portuguese-American community.
